Seat24 Armchair

Seat24 is a swivel-tilt armchair designed by Gerard van den Berg. Several years ago, during flight UA132 in the United States, Gerard van den Berg was inspired by the airplane seat he was sitting in.
The chair had a deep bucket seat and a higher, thin back.

During the flight, Gerard grabbed a pen from his bag and used a napkin to write his inspiration on it. The sketch on the napkin formed the basic idea for this new armchair. The shape of the armrests of the armchair are based on the wings of the plane and the seat and back on the plane seat in question, number 24, in which Gerard van den Berg sat.

The chair has an adjustable headrest and separate head pillow. The matching pouffe enhances seating comfort.
